Saturday morning, we took the train to NYC and joined friends at Union Theological Seminary, whence we processed to Riverside Church, recreating the walk that MLKing made on that same day decades ago. At Riverside there were events commemorating his speech Beyond Vietnam \u2013 A Time to Break Silence. We stayed overnight with friends Kathy and Marc and attended Morningside Quaker Meeting the next morning.
