Yes and No."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s interesting to consider that half a century ago, I had some things somewhat comparable to this rather <a href=\"http:\/\/artofmanliness.com\/2011\/07\/11\/how-to-make-a-survival-shotgun\/ \">over-the-top survivalist<\/a>, stashed in the trunk of my car. I always kept <!--more-->there a ready-to-go backpack, plus additional food and a small firearm. In one sense, Fran and I still maintain this readiness with our backpacking and gardening and striving towards simplicity. But there is a <strong>significant<\/strong> difference.
