They would not transport her to the station, so instead they agreed to issue her a citation right there. Probably a wise decision by the police. Plus, she had neglected to bring any ID with her. She looked like everybody\u2019s mother.<\/p>\n
We feel we lose relevance as we get old, but perhaps if we live long enough, we gain relevance by simply our existence.\u00a0 Civil disobedience becomes more significant coming from her than coming from me, even though the words of her story may come through me. She provides an opportunity for me to tell why she was doing what she was doing.<\/p>\n
Seven of us were arrested while walking up the Lockheed Martin driveway to carry King\u2019s message that \u201cViolence ends up defeating itself.
