Honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King with civil disobedience

I was arrested today at the King of Prussia facility of Lockheed Martin, the world’s largest war profiteer and nuclear weapons manufacturer. Today is the holiday when we particularly honor the birth and life of Martin Luther King. How better to do this than to act in accord with his own life and teachings? (more…)

I reread this poem on New Year’s Day 2013. I believe that I had not read it fully since high school, and it is amazing how different it feels to read it in my late 60’s compared to reading it as a teenager. (more…)
