Paul’s Perambulations covers a variety of topics such as politics, peace, education, religion — and not least of all, love and family. Many posts draw on the historical record in order to help us better understand what is happening in the world today.  Some posts are based on material that I have submitted to the New York Times for publication as a public commentary on articles in that paper. Other posts provide reference material in support of what I have published at  You are welcome to submit your own comments about any of this material, which will be posted after a review to eliminate any spam. I am pushing 70 and won’t live where there is no trader joes. Row house, trolley and train speak my language. The older one becomes the more city centric seems necessary. Any ideas on the requirements of this paragraph (here) without the harsh winters of the philadelphia area? thank you, No need to publish.

  2. Ah, Big Little Wolf’s well-written blog. I don’t know how she can do it so well on a daily basis. Media is a county seat in the Philadelphia suburbs. We are working for sustainability and carbon neutral, and so want public transportation accessible, while at the same time appreciating the benefits of living in a real town.
